Complaints & Grievance Reporting
Confidential review, advocacy, and guidance for girls and young women across Africa's tourism ecosystem.
Confidential Grievance Reporting & Advocacy
Girls in Tourism Association - Africa (GITA-Africa) is firmly committed to promoting safe, respectful, and professional environments for girls and young women within tourism and related sectors.
Tourism is one of the continent’s most vital drivers of youth empowerment and economic opportunity. However, young women frequently face vulnerability in workplaces, remote lodges, safari operations, and internships. We provide a trusted, confidential pathway for young women to report grievances, seek guidance, and obtain professional advocacy.
Whether you are an intern, tour guide, hospitality staff member, conservation ranger, travel agent, or freelance creator, your voice matters and your safety is paramount.
100% Confidential & Protected
All information shared will be handled with confidentiality and reviewed appropriately by our designated welfare and ethics officers. We protect your identity and guard against workplace retaliation.
